Founded in 2008, My Father Cigars has one of the most enviable reputations within the cigar industry, producing a number of critically acclaimed ranges of cigars around. Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, formally one of Cuba’s best rollers, emigrated to the US in 2003, setting up a small shop in Little Cuba, Florida. It was here, that his son, Jamie Garcia, a skilled cigar blender in his own right, decided to secretly, take trips to Nicaragua to create his own blends to honour his father.
Like many of the big name cigar producers from Nicaragua, My Father Cigars moved their production to Esteli where they have set up their own factory. The company is run by Pepin and Jamie who have now been joined by Pepin’s daughter, Janny.
One of Nicaragua’s most highly respected and rated cigar companies. Making cigars in the traditional Cuban method, the filler is folded using the Entubado method and finished off with a triple cap. This helps maintain a constant burn and adds complexity to the flavour.
