A cigar cutter is one of the most important pieces of equipment for the cigar connoissuer, without one, what should be a wonderful, enjoyable experience can turn into a mouthful of tobacco and disappointment!
Cigar cutters come in many shapes and guises, some can do multiple types of cuts whilst others provide a solitary cut type. The usual cut type for most UK customers is the round cut. This type of cut slices around 2mm off the capped end of the cigar producing a large opening to allow as much air flow through.
The two other main types of cut are V-cut, which cuts, as the name suggests, a V shaped slice out of the cigar, and a punch cut, which cuts a much smaller hole in the cap of the cigar. This concentrates the flavours increasing the intensity. Which ever cutter you decide on, you can rest assured the quality of our selection.
