The latest release from Rocky is the Emerald Robusto which continues this amazing streak and is Rocky’s first box-pressed cigar in the light to medium bodied style. The Emerald has an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper draped over dual binders — one from Nicaragua and another from Mexico. The filler is mainly built around Nicaraguan tobacco, with the addition of a single leaf from the Jamastran Valley in Honduras. This combination results in a truly medium-bodied cigar, offering a harmonious balance of flavours.

I had the pleasure of meeting the great man recently (August 2025) and managed to spend around 10 minutes or so with him. He was so enthusiastic about this release, and I can see why, as it is richly flavoured, yet shows elegance and finesse.
