If you enjoyed the Oscar Superfly with its wonderful 1970’s look you are going to love this! This retro-looking cigar has a very 1980’s thing going on. With a big nod to the Back To The Future series of films, including naming the cigar after the lead character Marty McFly.
The McFly is a medium to full-bodied smoke that utilises an exciting blend of premium aged filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua, bound together with a Honduran binder and draped in a gorgeous Mexican wrapper. You will notice that the foot of the cigar is feathered so is not neat and tidy like some.
The smoke is quite deep with a soft salinity at the start before it develops a little sweetness. This has notes of leather and gentle spice and although the sweetness retreats slightly during the smoke it makes a welcome return towards the climax. Definitely one to enjoy with a coffee or dark rum.
