And now for something completely different – a Dominican made cigar where part of the blend has been aged in French Oak wine barrels!
Macanudo in conjunction with the award winning Flint Knoll winery in Napa Valley have crafted a cigar that features tobaccos that have been aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, namely the 2021 Royal Appointment Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing both the wine and the barrel to influence the tobaccos to create a totally unique smoking experience.
Thw Macanudo French Oak Barrel Churchill is a LIMITED EDITION cigar that measures an impressive 7 inches by 52 ring gauge. These are medium bodied in style with the wine notes quite dominant initially, but by the 2nd third these notes have become more subtle. Elegant and smooth with soft, almost buttery notes on the finish.
