From the only wholly fully female owned and produced cigar company in the world. Set up in 2016, Karen Berger has a long history in the cigar industry and is creating and producing some exceedingly good kit. Starting her career in the tobacco industry as a trainee roller in Nicaragua she worked for a number of years honing her skills. It was whilst working in the factory that she met her future husband and cigar factory owner, Don Kiki Berger.
Don, unfortunately passed away in 2014, however, Karen was determined to not only keep her husbands legacy alive but also to create her own blends and cigars. With the K by Karen range, which was launched in 2016, she has not only honoured her husbands legacy, but has also sealed her own success in the cigar world with cigars becoming highly rated
The K by Karen Lancero utilises Nicaraguan tobaccos as both Filler and Binder whilst a silky smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper is draped seductively around the cigar. These are medium bodied, silky smooth and with a mellow sweetness on the middle.
