Gauntleys Cigar Club – Ladies Night – Thursday October 1st 2026

As we slowly move into the Autumn month’s it’s time to focus on our final Ladies Only cigar night of the year, which will take place on Thursday 1st of October.  Our Ladies nights are now starting to grow and offer up the opportunity to sample amazing cigars in a relaxed and friendly environment. For this event I am wishing to focus on two very special and extremely popular cigars, one of which featured at one of our main events in the summer, and the other a limited edition cigar from one of the worlds greatest cigar makers.

The first one will be the Limited Edition Freud Elvis Lancero – a medium bodied cigar made by Eladio Diaz, one of the worlds best cigar makers, and who was head roller at Davidoff for the best part of 40 years. Working for himself now, he is making amazing cigars which can be a little quirky and this particular one will get you All Shook Up! The Lancero is a long slender cigar which delivers plenty of flavour, but in an elegant way.

Our second cigar was one of the stars of our Summer Cigar Festival – it was so good that I thought I would show it here too. El Pulpo Grand Robusto is made by Artisano & AJ Fernandez (who is also one of the worlds top cigar makers!) and is moderately full-bodied displaying notes of leather, spice and mocha with a soft, slightly sweet center. This is a big cigar and certainly makes an impression.

The evening will be held at Loose Ends on Friar Lane, Nottingham starting at 7pm.
